Pictures have been edited for years now, and using AI to create images is nothing new either. AI technology has advanced, and these edited pictures have now become more realistic to the point where people can tell if the image was a photograph or an AI creation. This technology is scary, but now AI has reached the point where it is creating videos. This new level of AI is unbelievable. People are now able to upload images and transform them into moving pictures, or they can have AI generate a video from scratch based on the creator’s imagination. Currently, the AI’s ability to generate videos is in the early stages, where AI is still trying to understand gravity and other affecting forces.

ChatGPT believes that the future of AI video generation involves improved realism, customization/personalization, automation of video production, interactive and immersive experiences, and ethical and regulatory considerations. These are all interesting ideas that would improve day-to-day lives, saving people time and money, and accomplishing tasks in far less time and with fewer resources. This comes with downsides as well; jobs will be lost due to AI being able to edit videos and generate commercial ads. This process usually takes a team to complete, but in the future, it will be completed by someone without the needed experience. The marketing field is going to be affected by AI in a large way because they cannot match the skill and speed at which AI can create ads. In my own experience, I have seen a PowerPoint generated by AI processing that was challenged against an entire marketing team. The AI was able to generate the ad in a tenth of the time the marketing team did, and the PowerPoint was more aesthetically appealing. However, at the current state of AI, the AI-generated PowerPoint was unable to get all the facts correct and began to make up information.
